MSI AE2020: multi-touch, all-in-one PC
MSI HAS TODAY announced the UK release and pricing information for its AE2020 multi-touch all-in-one PC, a device that somebody at the firm really needs to invent a snappier name for.

The unit is the first Windows 7 based MSI touchscreen PC to offer multitouch, the firm said, which means that users can act like Tom Cruise in the film Minority Report without actually being Tom Cruise. Or looking like an idiot. But we’re repeating ourselves.
The unit is of course being pitched as stylish and fashionable, it is the run up to Christmas after all, but apparently it will also be handy for more serious, that is, business, users. For example, the firm said that “[When] preparing a business document, the AE2020 will delight by being fun and easy to use.” Who knew printer queueing could be so much fun?
The AE2020 features an Intel Pentium T4300 2.1Hz high performance dual-core processor that draws just 35W, a Nvidia Ion graphics processor, and offers high resolution HDMI video along with high-end surround sound. All of which sounds like it could distract from the fun of printing.
Six USB slots will mean that eventually the stylish monitor might resemble a wounded spider, while it also features a six-in-one card reader. The display, which lets face it, is the whole sum of the AE2020s parts, is a 20-inch, 19:9 ratio widescreen and is shrouded in black leather. Kinky.
The MSI AE2020 all-in-one PC reportedly is available now, priced at £599.
